Canada Goose

E-commerce

Founded in Canada, Canada Goose is a global luxury outerwear brand known for premium craftsmanship, high-performance materials, and designs built to last. The brand continues to expand its presence as a recognized leader in luxury apparel worldwide.

The Challenge

Canada Goose needed a fast, reliable way to test product detail page (PDP) changes before launch. As a global luxury brand, the stakes are high — every element of the PDP experience, from imagery and sizing information to content hierarchy and accessibility, has a direct impact on conversion and customer satisfaction. With design iterations moving quickly, their UX team had to validate across three dimensions simultaneously: usability, content clarity, and accessibility. Running qualitative and quantitative research in parallel, without juggling multiple tools or lengthy recruitment timelines, was the core problem.

The Outcome

Using PlaybookUX, Canada Goose launched a mixed-methods research program tied directly to their PDP iteration cycle. Unmoderated usability tests surfaced friction points at scale, giving the team a broad view of where customers were getting stuck. Moderated interviews gave the team direct access to how customers understood content and navigated accessibility challenges, uncovering the nuanced reasoning behind behaviors that quantitative data alone could not explain.

Surveys validated design decisions across variants with broader participant pools, adding a layer of statistical confidence to every change before it shipped. By consolidating everything into one platform, the team eliminated the friction of managing multiple vendors and tools, moving from research question to actionable insight faster and keeping research in lockstep with development.

PlaybookUX is our go-to tool. It’s incredibly powerful, and we can launch mixed methods and get feedback super quickly from our target customer.
